Since 1992, Champion Environmental Services, Inc., has been a demolition industry leader by employing innovative tactics to minimize the environmental impact of both large and small scale wrecking projects. The following link provides a summary explanation of one such project compiled by WasteCap Wisconsin. The six month long project yielded a 99.07% recycling rate by weight and 97.67% by volume on a 440,000 square foot building; a total of 38,782 tons of material was diverted from landfills.
The key element of a successful demolition project starts with a comprehensive client consultation. Understanding the needs, expectations, and goals, will ultimately guide the process. In collaboration, we discuss tactical options unique to the project in order to determine the most cost-effective solution. Salvage, reusable material, environmental issues, crushing aggregate on-site, and deconstruction practices are all explored.
Estimators, senior project managers, engineers, and site safety personnel come together to determine appropriate budgets and design the project. If necessary, a plan to address any environmental issues will be designed and implemented. Client proposals go through detailed analysis, discussion, and debate in an effort to provide a timely and cost-efficient approach.
